Performance «Storytelling: The History of the Perfumer»

«Perfume is storytelling» — says Erez, who has created many beautiful scents. However, there is his family story which is impossible to tell only by the perfume.

In 36 minutes, actor tells the audience how the futile attempts to create a philosopher’s stone by an alchemist-perfumer from a Polish shtetl (Jewish settlement) many years later helped his great-grandson from Israel to find a business and the love of his life. This is a story about fateful journeys, finds and losses, meetings and breakups.

The performance is accompanied by live music written by the composer specifically for the performance, and a light show staged by the two-time winner of the Golden Mask Award. At the end of the performance, a song is played in Hebrew, the song « Be yourself with each breath» — in this phrase, the life credo of Erez Rosen and the quintessence of the brand’s DNA.
